Our "queer" universe

Richard Dawkins gives a pretty interesting presentation at the TED conference, explaining how our senses limit how we see and experience the universe. If you disagree with him on his religious views then rest assured, he isn't talking about religion here. It really made me look at our world differently when I first saw this.

  1. really informative piece of work. our brain detaches us from our full potential in order to protect us from the outer world

  5. Dawkins is extremely intelligent and a role model. People need to stop bashing him for his anti-religious views because no matter how you look at it, he has the most proof for being correct.

  24. Dawkins is a brilliant mind coupled with an arrogant attitude. I don't particularly like him, but I still read his books.

  27. Very clever. I wonder at times, though, why he'd rather force his brain into thinking in a stilted, alien way than improve his faculties to accurately personify non-persons. If Basil asked why his car was upset with him, rather than trying to rebuke it, he might've fixed it.
